Vakhtang Gomelauri, Head of State Security Service of Georgia held meeting with Saulius Urbanavičius, Director of Special Investigation Service of Republic of Lithuania. The meeting was attended by Alexander Tabatadze, Deputy Head of State Security Service of Georgia, Lasha Tsomaia, Director of Anti-corruption Agency under SSSG, Žydrūnas Bartkus, First Deputy Director of Special Investigation Service of Republic of Lithuania and other members of delegation.

The visit of the delegation aims at sharing European experience with relevant Georgian agencies in terms of fight against corruption in legislative, preventive and persecution areas.

Parties discussed the implementation of the agreement on corruption prevention, criminal prosecution and operative-investigative measures. Talks were held on the development of bilateral cooperation and future plans.

Director of Special Investigation Service of Republic of Lithuania Saulius Urbanavičius granted Head of State Security Service of Georgia Vakhtang Gomelauri the special medal for contribution in development of international relations between relevant Georgian and Lithuanian agencies.
