Georgian citizen Giorgi Giunashvili who was imprisoned in so-called Tskhinvali prison for almost 18 months is released and passed to the representatives of the Central Government today, on 26th of November.

Giorgi Giunashvili is now in his family at the temporally settlement of the internally displaced persons. He was met in village Ergneti and seen off to his home by the Kakhaber Kemoklidze Deputy Head of Information-anaolytical Department under the State Security Service of Georgia, as well as by the representatives of Office of State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Giorgi Giunashvili was detained on 8th of June, 2016. Issue of Giunashvili’s release was permanently discussed in the scope of Geneva International Talks and IPRM meetings in village Ergneti.
