Head of State Security Service of Georgia Vakhtang Gomelauri and Director of the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania Saulius Urbanavicius signed Cooperation Agreement between the State Security Service of Georgia and the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania. The Agreement is aimed at developing close cooperation in the fields of corruption prevention, corruption-linked criminal investigation as well as the issues of operative-searching activities.

The delegation of Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania is paying an official visit to Georgia. Within the framework of the visit, work meetings were held in Anti-corruption Agency under SSG as well as other agencies involved in fight against corruption in Georgia including Ministry of Justice and Main Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia
