Cooperation Agreement between the State Security Service of Georgia and The State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus was signed

Head of State Security Service of Georgia Vakhtang Gomelauri and Chairman of The State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus Valery Vakulchik signed „Cooperation Agreement between the State Security Service of Georgia and The State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus“.

The cooperation agreement aims at developing close cooperation between the parties in an effort to combat terrorism, corruption and other international as well as transnational organized crimes committed against state security.

The State Security Committee Belarusian delegation pays an official visit to Georgia. During the meeting the parties discussed existing situation in the region, highlighted the importance of bilateral relations between Georgia and Belarus in the field of security and stressed cooperation between  Security Services which contributes to strengthening security in the two countries.
