The officers Anti-corruption Agency under State Security Service of Georgia as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained citizen Vakhtang Ts. over the fact of attempted fraud in especially large quantity.

Investigation established, that Vakhtang Ts. promised a citizen of Georgia early release from probation and demanded and received USD 5 000 when he was detained.

Investigation is carried out on the fact of attempted fraud in especially large quantity. (Article 19-180, part III, sub-paragraph “B”, which envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment). Investigation is carried out by the Anti-corruption Agency under State Security Service of Georgia. On the basis of Tbilisi City Court, the detainee was sentenced to two months of preliminary detention.
