IPRM Meeting Held in Gali

42nd IPRM Meeting Held in Gali The representatives of Central Government of Georgia raised the issue of Giga Otkhozoria, citizen of Georgia who was murdered in village Khurcha, Zugdidi region on May 19th and stressed the importance to detain Rashid Kanji Oghli, the person accused of murder.
During the meeting talks were conducted concerning ongoing military exercises and military infrastructure development facts in occupied Abkhazia, because this poses threat to peace and stability on the ground.
The parties also discussed the issues of so-called Administrative Boundary Line creation as well plans to close two BCPs in Gali region. The representatives of the Central Government made clear statements that so-called regulations or restrictions mentioned above will limit fundamental rights of the local citizens and complicate their daily lives.
Talks were also held on every important incident that took place from the last meeting up-to-date.
Next IPRM meeting will be conducted on 22nd February, 2017.
