Vakhtang Gomelauri, head of State Security Service of Georgia held meeting with the Ambassador of Turkey to Georgia Zeki Levent Gümrükçü. Parties discussed basic directions of Georgian-Turkish strategic cooperation and achieved outcomes.

Talks were also held on recent worldwide and regional developments. Vakhtang Gomelauri and Zeki Levent Gümrükçü discussed existing threats and challenges facing the two countries and highlighted the importance of enhancing and deepening cooperation between security services. Future plans and cooperation perspectives were also the issue of discussion.
