Vakhtang Gomelauri, Head of State Security Service of Georgia held introductory meeting with Dursun Hasanov, newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan.

Parties discussed main directions of existing strategic cooperation and achieved results between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Talks were also held on future plans and cooperation perspectives.

During the meeting parties also highlighted existing threats and challenges that the two countries face. Vakhtang Gomelauri and Dursun Hasanov underlined the importance of enhancing and deepening cooperation between security services of the two countries.
