Anti-corruption Agency under SSG detained one Person on the Fact of Bribery

The officers of Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, detained Irakli Labadze, chief officer of Samgori administrative unit for bribery in especially large quantities.
Investigation established, that Irakli Labadze promised the assistance to the citizens of Israel in issuing permit for 3-storey building construction works on his plot and demanded USD 20 000 in return.
Irakli Labadze appropriated part of the demanded money, USD 7500 in advance, when he was detained by officers of Anti-corruption Agency.
Investigation is carried out on the fact of bribery in especially high quantities (Article 338, part 3, subparagraph E), which envisages from 11 to 15 years of imprisonment,
Investigation is carried out by Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia. Upon the decision of Tbilisi City Court, Irakli Labadze is sentenced to imprisonment.
