The officers of Anti-corruption Agency under State Security Service of Georgia as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Z.A., forester of Asureti forest plot, under Kvemo Katli forestry service of National Forestry Agency, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia.

Investigation established, that Z.A  despite prohibition envisaged by legislation, promised a citizen assistance in cutting 1000 square meters fertile soil on the territory of Asureti forestry district and in return demanded GEL 6000.

Investigation is carried out on the fact of demanding bribes (Article 338, part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment).
