Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia Brought Two Individuals to Criminal Justice

The officers of Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities brought to criminal justice Mubariz M., former representative of head of local governance of Dmanisi Municipality in village Amamlo for neglect of official duty and citizen Arzuman A. on the fact of using of forged documents .

Investigation established, that in 2017, by the request of Arzuman A. representative of head of local governance of Dmanisi Municipality in village Amamlo Mubariz M. issued a forged certificate according to which Arzuman A. allegedly lived and was present in village Amamlo during 9 months and more in total. Arzuman A. presented the forged certificate issued in Amamlo administrative unit by the head of local governance along with other documents on the basis of which he has been granted the status of permanent resident of mountainous region.

Investigation is carried out on the facts of using of forged document and neglect of official duty (Article 362, part I and article 342, part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia) which envisages up to 3 years of imprisonment.

Investigation is carried out by the Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia.
