The officers of Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, detained Lasha Ch, the officer of compulsory activities department of Kvemo Kartli administration under the administrative department of the LEPL Revenue Service on the fact of bribery.

Investigation established, that Lasha Ch. Promised  a citizen of Georgia to assist him in terms of recuding by GEL 20 000 the GEL 107 000 state-owed debts of the entrepreneur through signing tax agreement and in return demanded GEL 5 000 as a bribe. Lasha Ch. Demanded and took partial amount of money GEL 1000 in advance from the same citizen on April 16, 2018 and also took the money in amount of GEL 1000 on April 28, 2018, when he was detained by the officers of Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribery (Article 338, Part I, of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages form 6 to 9 years of imprisonment).
