The officers of Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia, as result of investigative-searching and operative activities detained the head of infrastructure, space management, architecture, construction and construction supervising unit of the secondary structural unit of infrastructure, space management, architecture, construction, transportation and territory organization under Samtredia municipality Avtandil N. on the basis of court decision on the fact of bribery.

Investigation established, that on  December 11, 2017,  Avtandil N.  promised the representative of the winner of the e-tender for the organizing the kindergarten yard in Gari administrative unit of Samtredia municipality that the company will face no problems in terms of delivering the fulfilled works to the commission and timely transaction of the money in exchange to fulfilled works and demanded GEL 500 as a bribe in return on March 30, 2018.

Investigation also established, that the mentioned individual promised the representative of the same company which won e-tender for installation of street lights in the direction of Ilori of Samtredia Municipality City Hall municipality that the company will face no problems in terms of delivering the fulfilled works to the commission and timely transaction of the money in exchange to fulfilled works and demanded GEL 700 as a bribe.

Investigation is carried out on the fact of bribery (article 338, part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment).
