State Security Service of Georgia was awarded for disinterested blood donation

On the World Blood Donor Day the awarding ceremony of the gratuitous donors and supporting organizations was held in the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. The State Security Service of Georgia was awarded for gratuitous donation of blood.

The meeting was attended by Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Marina Darakhvelidze, the director of the healthcare department under the Ministry of Labour Health and Social Affairs of Georgia and the representatives of European Commission Experts Mission, paying visit to Georgia.

By the initiative of the Head of the State Security Service of Georgia, the employees of the State Security Service of Georgia gratuitously donate blood to the children suffering from leukemia already for three years now.
