The Deputy Heads of the State Security Service of Georgia: Ioseb Gogashvili, Aleksandre Tabatadze and the Head of the Administration Nino Giorgobiani held meeting with  the Chairman of the US House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Congressman Devin Nunes and the member of the mentioned committee Congressman Rick Crawford. The meeting was also attended by the members of the delegation and US Embassy Charge d'affaires to Georgia Elizabeth Rood.

The US Congressional delegation together with the Deputy Head of the State Security Service of Georgia Grigol Liluashvili, visited the occupation line in village Odzisi, Dusheti district .

The Deputy Head of the State Security Service, Grigol Liluashvili and representatives from the Information-Analytical Department delivered a comprehensive brief to the U.S. Congressmen regarding the security environment on the ground. During the visit, significant attention was directed to the Russian military representation in the occupied regions, the illegal process of so-called "borderization," illegal detentions and all the related issues, which concern local population.
