Vakhtang Gomelauri, the Head of the State Security Service of Georgia and Dorian Tola, the Director of Classified Information Security Directorate of Albania (NSA) signed the Agreement between the Government of Georgia and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on the Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Information.

Signature of this Agreement aims to establish legal norms regulating mutual protection of the classified information exchanged and created in the process of cooperation between the two countries. Furthermore, this Agreement will create solid legal basis for the exchange of classified information in the fields of security, law enforcement, as well as foreign relations and other spheres, between the two countries.

The delegation of the Classified Information Security Directorate is paying an official visit to Georgia. During the meeting, Vakhtang Gomelauri and Dorian Tola underlined the importance of further enhancement of cooperation in security field. The parties outlined the plans of future cooperation.
