Head of the State Security Service of Georgia Held Meeting with the Minister for Defence and National Security of the Republic of Fiji

Vakhtang Gomelauri, the Head of the State Security Service of Georgia held meeting with Hon. Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, the Minister for Defence and National Security of the Republic of Fiji.

During the meeting the parties discussed existing challenges in security field. Talks were also held on conducted counter-terrorism related activities.  Talks were held on the security situation in the occupied territories and in the adjacent territories of the occupation line.

The Head of the State Security Service of Georgia and the Minister for Defence and National Security of the Republic of Fiji underlined the importance of further enhancement of mutual cooperation and outlined the plans of future cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the Deputies of the head of the Service – Alexander Tabatadze and Grigol Liluashvili and The Head of Administration of the Service Nino Giorgobiani.

In the frames of the visit, the Minister for Defence and National Security of the Republic of Fiji Hon. Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, alongside other members of the delegation visited occupation line in Khurvaleti, Gori region. The representatives of the Information-Analytical Department of the State Security Service of Georgia delivered comprehensive information to the members of the delegation regarding the current situation in the occupied regions.
