Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality of Georgia Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of Moldova Cristina Lesnic and Minister of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs of Ukraine, Vadim Chernish visited the occupation line in village Odzisi of Dusheti region.

The representatives of Information-Analytical Department under the State Security Service of Georgia provided high-ranking guests with the exhaustive information on current situation in occupied regions. Particular attention was paid to the challenges and problems which originate from the occupied Tskhinvali region. The representatives of the State Security Service touched upon the illegal process of so-called “Borderization” and the problems which local population faces due to barbed wires, fences and other artificial barriers. Such visits provide a good opportunity to get the partners of Georgia and high-ranking guests familiarized with the current grave situation along the occupation line.
