The officers of Anti-Corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia and Internal Audit and Monitoring Service under Tbilisi City Hall, as a result of joint operative-searching and investigative activities, detained Giorgi G., the inspector of buses expluatation security and movement organization service of LTD “Tbilisi Transport Company” under Tbilisi City Hall on the fact of attempted fraud.

Investigation established, that Giorgi G. promised  a citizen of Georgia to appoint him  as a conductor in LTD “Tbilisi Transport Company” and in return he demanded and got GEL 700 step by step.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of attempted fraud using official authority (Article 19-180, part II, sub-paragraph “B”  and Part III, Subparaghaph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia that envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.)

Investigation is carried out by Anti-corruption Agency under State Security Service of Georgia.
