Since June 25, 2019 investigation has been ongoing in the Anti-corruption Agency of the State Security Service of Georgia on the criminal case of possible abuse of official powers, crime envisaged under the part I of the article 332 of Criminal Code of Georgia.

It is established that as a result of producing monetary assets through using false data by dishonest entrepreneurs the state has lost tens of millions of GEL. It is also established that signs of possible crime have been identified by the employees of the Revenue Service.

Active investigation is ongoing in order to establish how thoroughly public officials have fulfilled their legal duties.

At this stage, all the people, having any links with the case have been interviewed.
