Head of the State Security Service of Georgia Grigol Liluashvili held an official meeting with Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Georgia, Justin McKenzie Smith. Head of the Counterterrorism Center of the State Security Service of Georgia, Irakli Chimakadze attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the parties discussed matters of cooperation in security field between Georgia and the United Kingdom. Grigol Liluashvili and Justin McKenzie Smith discussed ongoing global and regional developments. Talks have been held on significance of enhancing existing cooperation between relevant security services of Georgia and the UK, as well as future plans.
