The officers of the Anti-corruption Agency of the State Security Service of Georgia, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, detained on June 24, 2020 a staff scientist of LEPL. “Union of cultural, arts, educational institutions” of Kutaisi City Hall.

Investigation established that the detainee has demanded from a citizen GEL 800 and has taken GEL 400 in advance in exchange for starting employment in Kutaisi City Hall.

Investigation is ongoing into the fact of attempted fraud that might have caused substantial damage, which envisages imprisonment for a term from 4 to 7 years.
