Head of State Security Service, Grigol Liluashvili held meeting with Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Georgia, Mark Clayton.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of strong strategic partnership in security field between the United Kingdom and Georgia and discussed opportunities of further enhancing of the existing cooperation in this direction.

The parties discussed current developments and security situation in the region, as well as ongoing military confrontation between Azerbaijan and Armenia and its influence over Georgia’s and region’s security.

Grigol Liluashvili congratulated Mark Clayton on his appointment and wished him every success.
