Head of State Security Service of Georgia Major-General Vakhtang Gomelauri held meeting with the Ambassador of the US to Georgia Mr. Ian Kelly.

During the meeting, parties highlighted importance of successful and fruitful cooperation between the countries which is based on partnership and strategic collaboration.

Parties reviewed existing threats throughout the world, region and Georgia, as well as challenges facing newly-established Security Service. It was also noted, that it is very important to strengthen and activate links between Security Service and relevant US agencies.

Vakhtang Gomelauri and Ian Kelly spoke on the future plans and outlined prospects of cooperation.
