Grigol Liluashvili attended the opening ceremony of the project – Winter School of Security

Head of the State Security Service, Grigol Liluashvili attended the opening ceremony of the project – Winter School of Security - organized by the Training Center of the Security Service and addressed the students.

Deputy Head of Security Service, Shengeli Phitskhelauri, Minister of Justice, Rati Bregadze, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Nunu Mitskevitch and the Head of the EU Project - “Support the Fight against Organized Crime in Georgia”, Den Peterson also addressed the students.

As Grigol Liluashvili noted, the project is implemented for the first time and it will also continue in the future.

“It is an outstanding project, initiative, which will continue also in the future. This is a Winter School established by the Training Center of the Security Service. Our efforts are facilitated by the EU Delegation in Georgia, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Education and Science and we would like to express gratitude to everyone for this. Brilliant young people have been gathered, who are getting acquainted with the specifics of out Service, they have got a lot of questions, a lot of initiatives. We are listening to them attentively; we are having discussions and the process is very pleasant” – Head of the Security Service mentioned.
Students from various private and state universities from various regions of Georgia participate in the Winter School of Security. The project aims at both raising public awareness, as well as academic interest with regard to security field.
The partners of the project are Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Education and Science.
The project is implemented with the support of the EU Delegation to Georgia.
Winter School of Security is held in Kvareli, at the Training Center of Justice and it will end on December 14.
