The officers of anti-corruption agency under the State Security Service of Georgia, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained deputy head of Shuakhevi Municipality Roman Phutkaradze on the fact of Bribery in large quantities. 

Investigation established, that Roman Phutkaradze accepted bribe in the amount of 10 000 US dollars for assisting to appropriate 2 HA state owned land territory without any permit or lease agreement. 

The law enforcers detained Roman Phutkaradze when he was receiving the full amount of the demanded money.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of Bribery, Article 338, part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia. Investigation is carried out by Anticorruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia.
