The officers of Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia alongside employees of the Ministry of Correction, detained Gocha Nozadze, shift officer of №15th penitentiary facility under Corrections Department of the Ministry of Corrections of Georgia. 

Investigation established, that Gocha Nozadze, while fulfilling his official duties, promised a citizen to hand a sim card to the prisoner in the 15th penitentiary facility under Corrections Department of the Ministry of Corrections of Georgia. Gocha Nozadze demanded and received 7000 GEL as a bribe. 

Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribery (Article 338, part I, of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment). Investigation is carried out by Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia.
