Representatives of the State Security Service of Georgia held meeting with the Kyrgyz Delegation to Georgia

Representatives of the State Security Service of Georgia held meeting with the Kyrgyz Delegation to Georgia, headed by Mr. Tilek Sayakbaev - the Head of the Department for Monitoring of Anti-Corruption Measures of the Prime-Minister’s Office and composed of the representatives of the state agencies responsible for the anti-corruption activities in Kyrgyzstan. 

During the meeting the State Security Service of Georgia was represented by the Head of Anti-Corruption Agency – Lasha Tsomaia, Head of Administration – Lela Chikovani, Deputy Head of Anti-corruption Agency – Ucha Mumladze and Deputy Head of the Main Division on Investigation – Vitali Sadatierashvili. 

Representatives of the State Security Service of Georgia shared with their foreign colleagues information on security sector reform recently conducted in Georgia and anti-corruption measures taken in the country. 
The visit of the Kyrgyz delegation in Georgia is carried out with the support of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). The aim of the visit it to share the experience of Georgia in the field of fight against corruption and to get familiarized with the recent reforms conducted in this direction. Meetings are also planned with the representatives of other state agencies. 

“Representatives of almost all state agencies of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan responsible for anti-corruption matters have arrived. I am personally dealing with the anti-corruption policy direction in governing body. It was very important for us to learn the activities of relevant agencies in your country, how they are working, how the coordination is ensured among the state structural bodies, also new mechanisms and tools used by Georgian law enforcements. It became obvious for us that it is possible to systematize and modernize the methods of fighting against corruption that is an important tool for us. I think all the questions of my colleagues have been covered; we have gained great experience that we will use after we get back to Bishkek. All our representatives will share the information and experience they acquired with their colleagues and will further use in their daily activities” - said in his interview Mr. Tilek Sayakbaev - the Head of the Department for Monitoring of Anti-Corruption Measures of the Prime-Minister’s Office of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
