Erik Drulev, individual illegally detained by the occupation regime of the occupied Tskhinvali region, has been released.

He had been illegally detained on February 5, 2021 by the occupation forces at Georgia-Russia border in the section of Roki tunnel.

Since the very moment of illegal detention of Erik Drulev, State Security Service activated the “Hot Line”, in the framework of which constant communication with the occupation regime was underway.
EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia was actively involved in the process.

State Security Service continues to work in the direction of immediate and unconditional release of other illegally detained individuals.
