98th Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meeting has been held in village Ergneti of Gori municipality.

Representatives of the State Security Service have strictly demanded unconditional release of illegally detained citizens of Georgia: Zaza Gakheladze, Genadi Bestaev, Lasha Khetereli and Ramaz Begheluri.

During the meeting particular attention has been paid to all significant incidents in the occupied region and its vicinities detected since previous meeting to date, which extremely damage security situation, pose threat to personal safety of local residents and restrict free movement along the occupation line.

Brutal murder of Archil Tatunashvili, death of Davit Basharuli under unclear circumstances, as well as illegal cases of so-called borderisation have been also emphasized.

April 23, 2021 has been defined as a tentative date for next Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meeting.
